The WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits is suitable for those who wish to broaden their spirits tasting experience and knowledge and leads to an internationally recognised qualification administered by the Wine & Spirits Education Trust.

This is an intermediate level course, successful candidates will understand how raw materials are sourced and fermented. The different distilling equipment and techniques used to create spirits and liqueurs. Also, how post distillation practices can shape the end flavors and textures. You will confidently be able to provide guidance on the use and service of spirits and make informed recommendations to customers when selecting spirits and liqueurs to meet their taste and price requirements. You will also understand how to create and serve balanced cocktails.
